After obtaining his C.A.
designation in Montreal, David joined Rosenberg Smith and Partners LLP in
1977, becoming a partner in 1981. David’s main focus is concentrating as
a business improvement specialist for his clients in areas ranging from
income tax remuneration to improvements of corporate cash flows. Years
of experience and practical “out of the box” solutions allow his clients
to improve their results. Furthermore David supervises and directs the
Information Technology division for the firm. As the Partner in charge
he designed and implemented numerous accounting software systems for
clients. Office automation continues to be on of the main forces of
today’s evolving workplace. Whether it is remote access or more timely
and accurate information, David brings the most current technology to
his clients.
David is also a Certified
Fraud Examiner (C.F.E.). By effectively working with a wide variety of
clients over the years, David has developed an in-depth knowledge of
forensic and fraud accounting.
David’s goal is to provide
his clients with the qualified help they need to meet their business and
financial goals, and help their business prosper!
David is active in religious
and charitable organizations, including service on the Board of
Governors of B’nai Brith Canada as the National Treasurer of the
organization. He has taught the McGill University C.A. program as well
as courses for the Insurance Institute of Canada. David is married with
two children. His interests include racquetball and jogging.
