Daniel graduated from the University of Toronto in 1988 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and became a Certified General Accountant in 1997. Daniel became a principal member of Rosenberg Smith and Partners LLP in January 2004 and with his 16 years of experience is able to offer his clients a broad range of business expertise including tax, accounting and finance. He has an extensive background in various sectors including construction, real estate, retail, wholesale and manufacturing.
Daniel believes that building client relationships is where it all begins. Daniel’s focus with his clients is to build and foster confidence and trust. He strives to gain the confidence of his clients by providing the same level of service to all his clientele regardless of size and earns their trust by delivering the products and services they need to be successful. Daniel also builds a strong client relationship by tailoring all strategies to each individual’s needs and requirements.

Daniel enjoys sports and is a big fan of the Toronto Raptors. Daniel also enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time with family and friends. In his spare time Daniel enjoys soccer, volleyball, basketball and playing tennis.
David R. Colodny
After obtaining his C.A. designation in Montreal, David joined Rosenberg Smith and Partners LLP in 1977, becoming a partner in 1981. David’s main focus is concentrating as a business improvement specialist for his clients in areas ranging from income tax remuneration to improvements of corporate cash flows. Years of experience and practical “out of the box” solutions allow his clients to improve their results. Furthermore David supervises and directs the Information Technology division for the firm. As the Partner in charge he designed and implemented numerous accounting software systems for clients. Office automation continues to be on of the main forces of today’s evolving workplace. Whether it is remote access or more timely and accurate information, David brings the most current technology to his clients.
David is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (C.F.E.). By effectively working with a wide variety of clients over the years, David has developed an in-depth knowledge of forensic and fraud accounting.
David’s goal is to provide his clients with the qualified help they need to meet their business and financial goals, and help their business prosper!
David is active in religious and charitable organizations, including service on the Board of Governors of B’nai Brith Canada as the National Treasurer of the organization. He has taught the McGill University C.A. program as well as courses for the Insurance Institute of Canada. David is married with two children. His interests include racquetball and jogging.

Dora has come a long way in her career since she started at Rosenberg Smith and Partners LLP as an articling student in 1994. Dora graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics, a Bachelor of Administrative Studies majoring in Business and a Bachelor of Administrative Studies Honours degree majoring in Accounting. Dora has been working with hundreds of individuals and small businesses. Her sole purpose is to provide her clients with highly personalized tax, accounting, and financial advice. By providing the best service possible at affordable fees, Dora has formed countless rewarding business relationships and has helped her clients grow and prosper.
Through communication and action planning, Dora ensures her clients success and ongoing achievement. She puts the right tools in place to refine her client’s practices and financial goals to help them grow their businesses and become more profitable.
At every stage of Dora’s career she has received strong support from her employers to constantly build and update her accounting skills. Dora has also benefited from working for and with some extremely dedicated, talented and innovative accountants who have acted as role models and have provided support and encouragement to Dora throughout her career. Dora feels that any person willing to work hard with dedication to their responsibilities will find that a satisfying and an enriching career will follow. Dora is also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Henry M. Icyk
B.Sc., M.B.A., C.A.
Just three years after joining Rosenberg Smith and Partners LLP, Henry Icyk became a partner in 1983. After obtaining his MBA with a specialty in marketing from York University in 1973, Henry spent the early part of his career with a major car company and a small business. During that time, he developed an interest in finance and taxation that led him into accounting. He obtained his CA designation in 1978.
Henry has a general practice of professionals, manufacturers, investment companies and non-profit organizations. He prides himself on finding real solutions to his clients’ problems. Henry believes that firms must provide clients with more than tax returns and financial statements. He believes it is a necessity in gaining an understanding of clients’ operations so that one can assist in making decisions affecting their futures.
Henry’s sole mission, simply stated, is to grow his client’s wealth and happiness and to enhance their financial standing. He does this by being proactive, positive, creative and timely in servicing and advising his clients in personal and business matters, as well as planning and executing complex strategies and transactions involving individuals, and their businesses.
Henry and his wife Esther live in Thornhill and have two sons. They are very active with Warren their youngest son in hockey and baseball and their eldest son Bryan who is building his professional career. Henry is also a very active member/volunteer in the Toronto’s Jewish community. He is actively involved with the Bernard Betel Centre, in which he provides support and volunteer’s his time as Treasurer. Henry Icyk was honoured as the 2003 award recipient of the UJA Federation’s Shem Tov Award to represent the highest levels of excellence in volunteer service in the Jewish community. Henry is also on the Board of Directors at the Beth Radom Synagogue where he is an active member and enjoys volunteering his time.
Morry L. Nosak
B.A, C.A., T.E.P.
Morry began his career at an international accounting firm. Shortly thereafter, he joined Rosenberg Smith and Partners LLP to broaden his background, becoming a Partner in 1995.
He has extensive accounting, auditing and business advisory experience servicing the needs of owner-managed enterprises. He is responsible for managing some of the firm’s major clients and has a portfolio of clients in a wide range of industries including Real Estate, Professional practices, Manufacturing, Retail, Trusts and Estates. In this capacity, Morry spends the majority of his time advising clients on various aspects of personal and corporate financial planning, business consulting and estate and succession planning. Morry utilizes his wealth of accounting skills and competencies to assist his Partners and staff resolve contentious accounting issues and policies. He is also responsible for the Firm’s Human Resources.
Morry feels that his clients are best served by structuring a professional working relationship with them, while getting to know them on a personal level, which in turn will offer the highest level of service. He believes in combining teamwork with quality and timely services. The knowledge gained over his many years of experience in accounting, personal and business consulting and Human Resources makes him a valuable asset to his clients and their businesses.
As a part of his active involvement in the community, Morry serves as a Director and Treasurer of the Lodzer Center Holocaust Congregation. Morry has three children, all of whom help to maintain his interests in hockey, baseball, family trips and gatherings.
Norman is the firm’s senior partner, who has helped Rosenberg Smith and Partners LLP grow into a respected and valued organization. Through a network of hand selected accounting professionals, Norman has created an exceptional group to support his clients with a full range of financial services.
Norman obtained his C.A. designation in 1959 and since that time has worked with clients in all areas of business. He has significant experience in the real estate and construction industries, and has served as an advisor to the directors of a major construction association. Norman has 30+ years of experience with the firm, and has addressed a wide range of issues, involving tax and financial accounting issues. Norman is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (C.F.E.). Norman’s financial advice is unbiased and always geared towards his client’s best interest. He strongly believes in building strong relationships and trust so that he can better service his clients.
In his leadership position, Norman is committed to identifying opportunities for the firm, ensuring that the firm’s lines of business are strong and growing, and helping to create solutions for clients that draw upon Rosenberg Smith and Partners LLP’s professionals’ wealth of skills and competencies.
In order to completely service his clients and remain on top of the changing dynamics of the profession, Norman attends professional consortiums and educational programs. In a world of regularly changing regulations, legislation and technology, Norman believes it is paramount that the firm’s staff maintain a program of on-going training and professional updating. This ensures that clients continue to receive the proactive service they expect as well as the advice, help and support they need to keep their business ahead of the rest.
Norman believes that the quality of service is what separates successful C.A.’s from the others. Accomplishment, as stated by Norman, requires that a C.A. must be able to provide something extra…dedication and contribution!
Over the years, Norman has done a considerable amount of fundraising work for various charitable organizations and is a member of the Baycrest Hospital Men’s Club. As a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, Norman is a man who enjoys his work very much.
Norman’s connection with the community, his dedication and contribution, his passion for helping clients succeed, and the unpretentious way he strives for excellence makes Norman a definite asset to Rosenberg Smith and Partners LLP and his clients.
Pamela qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant while training with a firm of Chartered Accountants in London, England. She became a fellow member of the Associations of Chartered Certified Accountants in 1987. Following four years working for an international accounting firm in Malaysia, she came to Canada in 1988. She joined Rosenberg Smith and Partners LLP in 1989 and qualified as a Certified Management Accountant in 1991.
Pamela has gained a wealth of experience working with a diverse range of individuals and corporate clients as well as partnerships, trusts and estates. She is involved in all aspects of accounting, audits and taxation.
Responding to, and anticipating client’s requirements is central. Pamela knows that clients have different needs and goals, and that through listening; clients will be looked after by a team that has the knowledge appropriate to those needs. She believes in working closely with clients to build a strong working relationship and awareness of their individual needs in order to help plan for and meet their future personal and business objectives. She is committed to ongoing development and dedicated to providing a personal tailored service as well as a positive and enthusiastic approach while maintaining high professional standards.
In her spare time, Pamela enjoys traveling, reading and playing scrabble. She also loves spending time with family members and friends.
Stephen M. Rosenberg
Stephen joined Rosenberg Smith and Partners LLP in 1983, progressing through the ranks to become a partner in 1991.
Stephen manages major clients in the real estate, construction, manufacturing and retail industries. Complementing his CA designation, Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from York University. After becoming a CA, he has lectured for the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and taught various courses.
Through his keen anticipation of market needs and trends, he has strategically provided companies of all sizes and industries with efficient and cost-effective accounting and assurance. He has helped a variety of organizations achieve their goals through thorough risk assessment and selecting cost-effective controls.
Stephen is actively involved in a number of associations. He is the auditor for the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts and the treasurer for the Canadian Syringomyelia Network.
